UNIVERSITY FARM, BLEDINGTON
Born and bred in Bledington John Stow and his family has been farming at University Farm in Bledington for 5 generations. John has worked on the farm for the past 50 years – as well as being a lifetime regular at our sister pub The King’s Head Inn, Bledington.

University Farm supplies us with the very finest produce including: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, game and eggs. It truly is…from the field to the plate.

We aim to carry on this tradition at The New Inn At Coln St Aldwyns serving much of this wonderful local produce.

UPTON SMOKERY
Upton Smokery is a well established, local family business located near Burford – the gateway to the Cotswolds.

Their traditional process involves salt curing, chilling, slow & cold smoking, then hot smoking to finish using oak, beech and sometimes apple wood. They do not use artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives in any of our smoked produce – the only ingredients are pure salt, water and natural smoke.

Set up initially on a micro scale, Upton Smokery has grown rapidly due to the quality of the food they produce. They now supply a broad range of oak and beech smoked meat, game and fish.

TODENHAM MANOR FARM
Based near the Cotswold town of Moreton in Marsh, Todenham Manor Farm specialises in producing top quality outdoor-reared pork and beef.

Dedicated to ethical farming practices, they understand that meat is a precious resource and the animals used should be treated with respect throughout their lives.

Their pasture land is grazed by Aberdeen Angus and South Devon cattle. Their spacious outdoor pig pens are happily occupied by Gloucester Old Spot, Middle White and Saddleback pigs.

MARTIN’S MEATS
Martin’s Meats was established in 2003 by husband and wife team, Martin and Emma Gilder. Based in the heart of the Cotswolds, Martin’s Meats is the home of longhorn beef. Martin’s passion for truly great, high quality rare beef sees them produce, age and cut the finest longhorn and traditional breeds of beef.

They use traditional methods of ageing the meat, combined with new modern ideas such as their unique Himalayan Salt Chamber which enhances the flavour and tenderness of the meat.

Additionally Martin’s Meats also supply Gloucester Old Spot and Middle White pork, Cotswold Reared lamb and Free Range poultry and game.

WINDRUSH CHEESE
Established in 2002 Windrush Cheeses are soft goat cheeses made by Renee and Richard Loveridge at their award winning goat dairy and farm in Windrush, near Burford. The milk comes from British Saanen and Toggenberg goats that are fed mainly on haylage and a concentrate.

Their fresh cheeses are made in pure, unflavoured variety; Dainty Herb flavoured with fresh herbs, a peppercorn-coated variety and a garlic and crack pepper cheese.

Established some 20 years ago The Oxford Wine Company is a local, independent, family-owned wine supplier with an outstanding range of some 900 carefully selected wines in their portfolio. The wines are exclusive to The Oxford Wine Company in our location and won’t be found in supermarkets or on the high street.
